GARBAGE CAN HAT

Bucket hats have been my signature crochet garment from the start. When Norway qualified for the World Cup, I immediately knew I wanted to make a Norwegian World Cup bucket hat.

The design came about through a lot of testing, mis-crocheting, and trial and error. I couldn't find a pattern for a crocheted bucket hat with letters, so I taught myself the technique and developed my own method.

The pattern quickly took off, leading to collaborations with House of Yarn, Garnius.no, Strikkemekka.no, Strikkia.no, Sparkjøp and

It's incredibly moving to see something I created from scratch being crocheted, shared, and cheered on by so many Norwegians.
